Helping clients and your loved ones

Supporting the wider family and loved ones throughout the dementia care journey is important to us. We are here to help you find ways to talk to your loved one when they are feeling confused about their care needs.  To improve communications we can include people involved in your care in your “care-circle”.  This is a special feature of our state-of-the-art care management software and is only done at your request.  It allows your loved ones and your wider healthcare team to keep up to date with your care and gives them peace of mind about your progress.

What is dementia?

Dementia is a general term for loss of memory, language, problem-solving and other thinking abilities that are severe enough to interfere with daily life.  Dementia is a debilitating syndrome that affects a person’s cognitive abilities, impacting their memory, language, reasoning, and decision-making skills. It is a progressive condition that is caused by damage to the brain cells and affects people differently, depending on the type and severity of dementia.

Dementia can cause confusion, disorientation, and behavioural changes, making it challenging for individuals to perform daily tasks and communicate with others.

Our Care Professionals understand the symptoms and behaviours associated with dementia and can provide support and care that is tailored to your needs.  We create a safe and familiar environment, provide emotional support, and develop effective communication strategies.

We recruit, train and nurture the very best carers. Treating them with respect encourages them to grow, develop and thrive. We are raising standards of care and the standing of the care profession.  Daniel
