Better care starts with happier carers.

Our founder and Managing Director, Dan, built Vitale on a belief that still guides us today. When Care Professionals feel valued and supported, they can give their best to the people they care for. It’s a simple idea, but one that shapes everything we do.

Vitale Founder, Dan's story’

Why I started Vitale

The problem Dan saw

Dan came into care almost by accident. After returning from an overseas post in 2020, he was asked to run a local care company. What he found was an industry full of people doing incredibly important work, but a culture where Care Professionals didn’t always receive the support and respect they deserved.

The question he asked

After two years working in the industry, Dan had a much clearer idea of the kind of company he wanted to create. It came down to a simple question: “Could a company provide better client care by creating a place where Care Professionals genuinely wanted to work?”

What he built

Better pay, flexible working, paid training and time to shadow experienced colleagues were part of it. But so was something bigger, a culture where, as Dan puts it, “Everybody’s equal. We just have different job titles.”

Being an active part of the local community was also built into Vitale Care from the beginning. Within the first six months, work had already started on local community initiatives, a commitment that has continued to grow alongside the business.

The proof

For Dan, the real proof isn’t found in a statistic. But in the people behind the numbers, Care Professionals who feel supported, colleagues who choose to stay and clients who receive care from people who genuinely want to be there.

“Creating a place where people genuinely want to work is really rewarding. But what matters most is what that means for the people we care for. Every minute of the day, 24 hours a day, we're helping people to have better lives.”

The difference you'll actually feel

Familiar faces

When Care Professionals are happy in their work, they’re more likely to stay. That means greater continuity and familiar faces clients can get to know and trust.

Confidence built through experience

Care Professionals have time to learn alongside experienced colleagues, building the confidence that comes through in the care they provide.

Reassurance, wherever you are

Our care app lets families keep up with visits, medication and meals, so when you’re together, you can focus on being family.
