About Us

We're passionate about providing the best care possible

We understand that choosing care is a personal decision. Feeling comfortable with the people coming into your home matters to you, and it matters to us too.

At Vitale, we believe that looking after our Care Professionals helps them look after you well. We support them with paid training, flexible working and time to learn alongside experienced colleagues.

That belief shapes our approach to care: carefully matching people, building familiar relationships and taking time to understand your routines and preferences.

It began when founder, Dan, saw the support his own family and friends needed as they grew older. He wanted to create a care company where both clients and colleagues felt valued and supported.

How do we do this?

It isn’t just something we say. We are diligent in our approach.

Vitale Founder, Dan’s story

The belief behind our care

Where it began

I decided to go into care when I saw how much support my family and their friends were going to need as they grew older. I started working for another care company but quickly realised that the service needed to be much better. It became obvious that the only way this was going to happen would be if I started a new company. Vitale was born with one objective, to provide the best care service in Chichester.

Why Vitale?

Vitale means vital or essential and as a name, it signifies “full of life.”  I chose the name because is signified how I want our clients to feel and how I look to inspire our carers who are our most important resource.

Putting that belief into practice

It is all about our clients, from the assessment to the care plan and the ongoing carer-client relationship. We are constantly striving to do our best. We look at every detail to ensure that our clients’ experience is the best it can be.

We also offer services others don’t, such as our PA Service to help with life admin and difficult tasks, and our GP service helps make sure medication is appropriate, a real problem these days.

In terms of our carers we offer better pay, flexible working, paid training and time to shadow experienced colleagues.

We are an active part of the local community, which has been the case from the very beginning. We are involved in a great many local community initiatives, a commitment that has continued to grow alongside the business.

What matters most to me

I think the most important thing is to have a great team who all have the same objective in mind: to provide the best possible service for our clients. If we have a happy team, everything else will follow.

That is what I want Vitale to stand for. Helping people feel comfortable at home and continue enjoying the things that matter to them. Starting with taking the time to get to know you properly.

“Creating a place where people genuinely want to work is really rewarding. But what matters most is what that means for the people we care for. Every minute of the day, 24 hours a day, we're helping people to have better lives.”

Care Professionals have time to learn alongside experienced colleagues, building the confidence that comes through in the care they provide.

Reassurance, wherever you are

All our Care Professionals are trained to use the Vitale Care App, supporting their work and keeping you and your family informed.
